Are the Republicans Crazy or Just Insane?

Tuesday 11/05/09 was Election Day and the Republican Party picked up some wins that had been lost. A couple of states that were big for Obama in '08 scored Republican wins. These wins were mostly by moderate candidates that actually sounded like sensible adults.
Chris Christie in NJ won by not doing much yelling (see R. Limbaugh for example) and Corzine came across as a whiner because of his blitz with negative ads. That''s one thing about running a negative ad campaign against someone, you sound like a whiner and nobody likes a whiner.
Even though these moderates won their campaigns some Republicans are trying to align themselves with the far right, like that nincompoop former Governor of Alaska and they're walking around with tea bags in their pockets for proof(Mark Kirk IL). They're doing this because SOME people at the top of the Party(Michael Steele) think they NEED this. Although I'm a registered Democrat, I have voted for Republican candidates and will continue to do so when I think they're the right person for the job. I just hope more Americans do the same.
